Residential entrance for the Korrer family, who owned a Hotel and Bar at the corner of Brooke & W. Division St. Their daughter studied music in Europe for a year, and when she came home, the family invited their friends for a recital.  Mr. Korrer had Eastlake stairs installed in the home for the recital, and his daughter  made her entrance coming down the stairs singing to her guests.

  1. The pic of the Scribner house caught my eye immediately because to me it's "Ahh, the old Wells house!" I grew up in Rosendale. :)
